A distinctive lettering studio where beauty, proportion and contemporary visual sensibility come together to create original letterforms.

Sunil Dhopavkar Lettering Factory is more than a company that creates frames. It is a creative brand that brings together personalised gifting and Devanagari lettering in a unique and meaningful way.

The Lettering Factory is the result of nearly five decades of exploration and practice by lettering artist Sunil Dhopavkar, whose work has consistently focused on the form, structure, rhythm and visual beauty of Devanagari letters.

Here, a name is never simply typed or placed into a ready-made font or template. Every composition is individually developed by considering the meaning of the name, the character of its letters, their visual relationships and the overall impact of the design.

This philosophy led to the creation of the Name TypoFrame — a personalised gifting concept that brings together a person’s name, its meaning, personality and specially crafted lettering in a single work of art.

Whether it is a wedding, birthday, anniversary, housewarming, retirement or any special occasion, a Name TypoFrame offers something beyond a conventional gift — a creation made especially for one person, and no one else.

Today, more than 50,000 Name TypoFrames have found their place in homes across Maharashtra, as meaningful gifts, lasting memories and distinctive pieces of décor.

The same journey of lettering also gave birth to AksharMantra — a special collection that reimagines mantras, shlokas, prayers and sacred words from our cultural tradition through contemporary lettering and visual expression.

At Sunil Dhopavkar Lettering Factory, we do not simply make frames.

We give form to names.
We give emotion to words.
And we turn those emotions into gifts worth preserving for a lifetime.
